2010 HOLLYWOOD NIGHT

Colchester Ladies Circle held their first ever Charity event on the 5th June 2010 at Colchester United’s Weston Homes Community Stadium.

The evening was a glamorous black tie dinner and dance with a Hollywood theme. The room sparkled with two huge golden Oscars that stood 9 ft tall and a plush red carpet entrance. There were some 150 guests who attended the evening and some guests even received the famous Oscars for best dressed, best performance on the dance floor etc.

A staggering £5,000 was raised during the evening and this was through holding an auction with some fabulous prizes and a raffle.  

What made the evening even more special was the fact that Colchester Ladies Circle only formed 8 months ago and managed to arrange and hold such a prestigious event in such a short space of time. The girls have been inundated with numerous emails asking when the next event will be held.
